A Legacy Video is a Gift That Will Last Forever
A video biography, video memoir, or legacy video is a special way to honor a loved one. It weaves interviews, family photos, home movies, archival footage, and music to tell a beautiful, captivating story of a life.
But even more, it is a gift to future generations.
As time goes on, a video biography appreciates in value, and is appreciated more and more by those who get to see it.
LegacyReels have been played at 50th, 60th, 70th, 80th, 90th, and 100th birthday parties, at anniversaries, and at celebrations of life.
It is a joy for family members to see their parent or grandparent share their memories, tell them how much they love them, and describe how proud of them they are for just being themselves.
For many, it's a gift to just hear their parent's voice again.
And the one thing we hear more than anything else is: "We wish we had known about this service when Mom was alive, and we are so, so glad that we did it for Dad." (And vice versa.)
The question to ask yourself is: Would I rather have a video containing all my parents' memories as told by them, or will I rely on my own memories of their stories?
At LegacyReel, we always work within your budget to produce the highest-quality and most professional films with stunning visuals and razor-sharp detail.
We understand that every family has different needs, and we work with you to tailor each experience to guarantee your satisfaction.
HOW MUCH DOES A VIDEO BIOGRAPHY COST?
Please note that payment is to be made in two equal installments:
one payment prior to filming, and the remainder after final approval is given.
We highly recommend that if you aren't ready to commit to a fully-produced video biography, complete with interviews, photos, home movies, archival footage, and music, that you record an interview with your family member, as we can always go back and make a LegacyReel with the great footage we capture, just at a later date. The price for just an interview is $1,000, complete with a two-camera setup, lights, and professional microphones.
